Art After Dark – Out of the Vault

Join us for a fun, casual evening at the Museum where the theme will be Out of the Vault. Our Permanent Collection galleries have a new look with new acquisitions joining some old favorites on the walls. Join us for a fun evening exploring the galleries. Activities include:
- Do you have what it takes to complete the Conservators Challenge? Hunt for artworks from the Museum’s collection using colorful clues in this self-guided activity. Submit your answers to be entered to win an artful prize!
- Make it an Art Night Out! Participants will be lead through the Putman-Smith gallery to explore the newly installed works. Using the paintings as inspiration participants will return to the classroom to flex their creative muscle and create their own 100% silk scarf. (NOTE: This requires separate paid registration.)
- Take part in our new book club, Beyond Words, where we will be discussing the book This Is Happiness by Niall Williams (NOTE: This requires separate paid registration)
Visitors can also enjoy acoustic music in the galleries. The Terrace Café will be selling food and drinks. Drink tickets for the bar can be purchased onsite (21+ only, valid ID must be presented at time of purchase and bartenders reserve the right to request ID). All this for the regular cost of admission – and members are FREE!
