Explore the Galleries

During your wedding, corporate event, or social gathering, you and your guests may stroll through the museum galleries. Each exhibition at Michener allows for the perfect backdrop, especially for first looks or greeting guests. Wedding ceremonies can be held in the Putman-Smith gallery in front of A Wooded Watershed by Pennsylvania Impressionist painter Daniel Garber, a 22-foot mural and celebrated focal point of the Michener’s permanent collection.  Formal tours of the galleries can be arranged for your event with an experienced docent. The venue is completely accessible, air-conditioned, and allows free parking for all events. Audio-visual equipment is available upon request. Specified discounts are available to nonprofit organizations, individual members, and Business Partner members.
