ART NIGHT OUT: SILK SCARVES 

21+ only

Participants have a highlight tour of our permanent collection works in The Putman Smith Gallery of the Michener Art Museum. Pennsylvania impressionists and craftsmen will serve as inspiration for our creations. Participants will then return to the classrooms to use silk pigment dyes to paint their own 100% silk scarf. Participants will be guided by expert instructors in creating their own unique scarves.  

All people ages 21 and up are welcome to attend these unique workshops, appropriate for beginners and experienced artists alike. Self-expression, experimentation, and fun are the focus. Additional Art Night Out programs will be offered in the late spring.  

Participants may bring their own wine or beer in unopened containers. No hard alcohol, please. The Museum will provide cups, napkins, paper plates, and wine openers, but we will not be able to provide ice or refrigeration, nor do we provide utensils. Guests must be at least 21 years old to consume alcohol and instructors will check IDs during sign-in.
